Sandrine Bouleau was born in Chimay, in French speaking Belgium, she settled down in Brussels twenty years ago, that’s where she lives nowadays. She graduated in fabric art and became a passionate sculpter. She graduated at the RHOK academy in Brussels where she is now undergoing a specialization. She is expressing her sensibility working terracotta and bronze.
For Sandrine, it is essential to be confronted as often as possible with live models, trying to figure out the inner mechanic and mysteries of the human body so fulfilled with emotions. Lately her work has been moving towards an abstraction of the body’s inner core. Trying out new approaches, moving into other dimensions, each day starting anew.
